DigiOBS is a 3D real time volume & surface rendering software

The program compiles volume data resulting from any reconstruction software, and it represents a 3D volume containing all reconstructed data, using a navigation and expertise interface.

DigiFDK is compatible with any 2D format (*.raw, *.tiff 12bits, *.tiff 16 bits, *.bmp, .dcm …) and 3D files (.vol, DICOM files …)

DigiOBS is today the most powerful volume rendering software known in the market, thanks to its quality of representation, its speed of navigation in real time, its fluidity and finally its compatibility with existing systems.

Complete version of DigiOBS is made of several additional plugins :

  • SIM (Slice Import) : import 2D slices in all format to reconstruct 3D volume
  • HTG (Histogram Analyzer) : analyse density segmentation and quantify porosity in 3D with high precision
  • CUT (Cutting Plane Analyzer) : export high resolution 2D slice in all specified direction and make accurate measurements and level curves
  • SRF (Surface) : transform any 3D volume rendering to 3D surface rendering in several known format (cloud point, STL, OBJ …). This makes it easy for Reverse-Engineering and rapid prototyping with CAD compatibility
  • RIV (New Plugin !!!) : 2D images software for both radios and 2D slices analysis. Filtering, image comparison, measurements, movie maker…
Recommended configuration
Pentium 4 or Athlon Processor - RAM 256 Mo minimum, 1 Go recommended, Standard graphic cards, support of Open GL 3D textures, 128Mo Nvidia graphic card recommended, 3 buttons Mouse with caster Windows 2000, XP or Linux.

  • Density segmentation and contrasts/textures parameter setting : view of particular density,element transparency or semi transparency according to its density
  • Choice of colors and possibility to underline object part or materials
  • Cross section in the volume in real time extraction of the whole 2D object’s sections from the 3D volume on a selected axis
  • Animation maker (i.e *.avi)
