The program executes a 3D reconstruction of a scanned volume by processing projections which have been acquired as either X-Ray or optical 2D images. The program is based on Feldkamp's and ART’s algorithms.
It provides high-performance, accuracy, and flexibility to run on your PC. It directly replaces other hardware-accelerated versions currently on the market. DigiFDK can either run on a single PC, or on several networked PC.
It is adaptable on any existing environment and uses all the data-processing capacities in an optimal way. The time of reconstruction is optimized, it is moreover possible to set up reconstruction parameters in order to fit reconstruction time to requests.
From a set of serial X-Ray radiographic images, DigiFDK reconstructs volume to get all transversal sections of the scanned object or a pre-selected part of it.
The program is able to use the most common image formats and allows the conversion of their size. The reconstructed images can be obtained by selection in a large range of resolution value (from less than 256x256x256 pixels to 2048x2048x2048 pixels).
The reconstruction parameters can be filled manually into the program :
It is possible to choose the suitable reconstruction’s algorithm among a set of powerful programs. You can select the types of filtering to be applied for an optimal result.
